The Shunammite Leadership Institute is a leadership consulting company
                                  designed to increase one's awareness of spiritual                                                   influence needed for leading, by                                                   introducing participants to a concept                                                   of spiritual leadership in a way that is                                                   meaningful to their work, their ministry,                                                   and their personal lives.
                                                  Long a dream of its founder, the dream                                                   came to fruition in the Fall of 2008. The                                                   name was chosen specifically from a                                                   story in the Old Testament of the Bible                                                   from the Book II Kings, Chapter 4. There we learn about an unnamed warrior woman from Shunem who was a "prominent" woman with a voice of persuasion and discernment for the things of God.

Leadership is a phenomenal concept, often misunderstood, misrepresented, and misused in providing guidance and direction. The Shunammite Leadership Institute is about helping individuals
establish a foundation of leading that is
biblically-based, principally-centered, and
divinely-driven so that in the end the people
are left whole and willing to give the best they
have to offer to their team, their family, and
their community at large.
